TYLER CLEVELAND
Entering his 2nd Season as the Boys Varsity Volleyball Coach, Coach Cleveland brings many positive attributes. He is also the youngest Varsity Coach in the state of Wisconsin. Since he took over at East, there has been a much bigger buzz around school about the Boys Volleyball program. They started with 4 players when he accepted the job, and now in just over a year, the numbers will be in the mid-20's. This program is going in the right direction, and will undoubtidly be a contender in the years to come.
21 year old Tyler played, and started for Stoughton High School Basketball and Mike Hintz, for his Junior and Senior year. He was a very big part of the defense, as he set the Stoughton School record for charges taken in a season (24), and for his career (31). He was asked by Hintz to coach the SBBA program this last summer. He coached in 105 games, (45 Varsity games, 60 JV Games), and had a record of 68-37. Cleveland also acts as the Assistant Coach for the Boys Basketball team at East, and is entering his 3rd Season.
Tyler also coached with the Capital Volleyball Academy, and coached the 16 "U" teal team. This is the elite academy and club team in Wisconsin. Tyler currently works for Nike's corporate office in DeForest and is an Account Manager. He currently lives in Windsor, WI.
EVAN FLOOD (SOPHOMORE COACH)
Entering his second season as the Sophomore Coach, Evan Flood"s general athleticism will be a huge asset to the program. The 12 sport winner at Stoughton High School (Football, Basketball, and Baseball), was a 3 year Varsity performer.
A teammate of Cleveland in both Basketball and Baseball, they have been friends since their early years.
Evan will serve as the Assistant Varsity coach, along with the JV coach, for the 2009 season.
Flood, a graduate of Stoughton High School in 2007, attended UW Green Bay last school year, and will transfer to MATC Madison for the next 2 years, before transfering to another state school. He will be a part of the Wolfpack Basketball team there.
JAKE PAGE (ASSISTANT COACH)
Entering his 1st season as a Volunteer Assistant Coach under Cleveland, Jake Page knows the program as well as anyone. Jake was a starter his Senior year for Coach Cleveland, and finished 2nd in the conference in Assists.
Jake will attend MATC Madison, and play on the Wolfpack baseball team there.
